1921 RareVintage Kriss Kross Razor Blade Sharpener. This is a safety razor sharpening device. Measures approximately 4-3/8″ in diameter. It is chrome plated and has a leather wheel. Insert blade in arm holder, turn crank handle, leather strop rotates to strop blade. While cranking, blade holder automatically raises and turns over to strop the other blade edge to evenly sharpen and polish both sides. A unique item that still works great. It is embossed “KRISS KROSS” with trade mark logo on the top. Base incised “Keep Leather Clean” and Left Thumb “. Blade holder incised “Insert Blade “. This is the Rare part unlike others I have seen the back has a star shape and in the circle it is incised around the inside of the circle “Kriss Kross Corp. St. Louis, MO” and in the center “Made In U.S.A. PAT. 6-30-21”. Only. T is nothing about Rhodes or other patent dates.
